Our mission is to support thriving and sustainable communities through the relentless pursuit of social and environmental innovation. It sounds big and scary, but it can start with just a single tree in your backyard.
Our Nerdy Arborist
Wade Janzen is a certified Environmental Professional (EP®) with a specialization in Sustainability. He has over 19 years’ experience in ecological sustainability and community investment in the nonprofit sector and is currently pursuing a very physically demanding but fascinating career as a certified Arborist and Dangerous Tree Assessor.
When he's not working outside or climbing trees, you can find him paddling, crafting, or making pithy protest signs.
I work best when I can flex my problem solving skills and apply my knowledge to real world issues.
Ultimately, I want to help trees grow.
